This Netflix original adaptation of a book of the same name by Jenny Han took the world by storm in 2018. It’s adorably pure love story of two teenagers who enter into a fake relationship only to found out how real it can get. Based on one of the most romantic novels of all time, this version stars Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen as Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy.
It involves all the ups and downs of love and life that comes with being a teenager. Didn’t have a problem w/the title and it was ambiguous enough to not give anything away. Unlike «Engaged to a Psycho» or «Murder in the Vineyard» that were complete misdirects. One problem Lifetime has with their good AND bad movies is that they skate around behaviors that for the most part normal people would react to or question. There are a few instances of this in the storyline, and for whatever reason, they can’t properly tell the story w/o giving it away. «I see dead people» totally spoils the plot of The Sixth Sense and isn’t a misdirect, but you go through the movie and don’t realize it until the right moment .
Going In Style is a refreshing watch if you’re tired of seeing actors over 80 years old restricted to plot lines centered on living and dying and virtually nothing more. Luckily, her loving husband is right by her side to take care of her, and all is looking up — or so it seems. Jennifer’s brain injury will prove to be only the first in a SwapFinder series of traumatic events as she begins to piece her life back together with a vague collection of memories. Last but not least, this Australian dating show, The Single Wives, focuses on four women who were all formally married. Now, alone, they are searching for love and hoping they can have a second chance at their happily ever after.
